About The LoungeThe Spirit Lounge is a weekly one-hour magazine style, discussion based
radio program on Australia’s only gay and lesbian community radio
station Joy 94.9, based in Melbourne. We air at 8pm each Tuesday.
The Spirit Lounge provides an on-air forum where people of all beliefs can explore their faith, spirituality and sexuality. With weekly guests to facilitate the conversation. You can also join in the conversation through SMS and email while we are on-air. The Spirit Lounge is hosted by the priest, the pom and the poof (Joy, Bertie, and Andrew). Each bring a unique view of spirituality to the sofa, and share from our experiences.
